With two wins in the Lower Bracket playoffs, T1 placed in the top two and became the second, and also the last, Korean team at MSI 2024. They easily made it to the bracket stage of the Mid-Season Invitational 2024 Play-In, where they had a 3-2.

T1 temporarily ended their run at LCK Summer 2024, where they had a 5-1 record, to compete at the Esports World Cup 2024. So they visited Riyadh in between regional competition matches, where they won the inaugural event and took home a $500,000 reward, defeating Top Esports in the championship match.

T1 finished the regular season 11-7 and in fourth place, going into the LCK Summer 2024 playoffs, which isn’t a respectable score for a club of their caliber. They struggled against HLE in the Upper Bracket semis, with strange drafts and subpar execution, but most importantly, their players didn’t appear to be on the same page. T1 advanced to the LCK Regional Finals, where they narrowly defeated KT Rolster 3-2 to earn a spot in the Worlds 2024. They lost a tough match to Top Esports in the first match. They then got 2-1 after handily defeating paiN Gaming and winning a close match against Bilibili Gaming. In the crucial match, T1 outperformed G2 2-0.

Head-to-head

T1 and Top Esports met paths twice in formal meetings during the 2024 season. The latter won the opening round of the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2024, while T1 won the Esports World Cup 2024 final.
