A recent study by StatiSense has identified the countries with the highest percentage of Internet users over 16 who visited online gambling sites or apps in the past month.

The information, which was gathered in February 2025 by StatiSense, the top AI data provider in Africa, sheds light on worldwide gambling patterns and identifies the countries with the highest rates of online betting. With 30.2% of its Internet users participating in online gambling, Norway leads the pack, closely followed by South Africa (30.0%).
