Football Bettors’ Innovative Engagement Is Still on as UEFA and Sportradar Renew and Expand Their Collaboration
The integrity partnership and betting data rights arrangement between Sportradar and UEFA, the European football governing body, have been extended for an additional three years.
A multi-year extension of the exclusive betting data rights agreement for the best betting site in Europe between the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and Sportradar Group AG (a multinational sports technology company with headquarters in Switzerland that gathers and analyzes data on sports for bookmakers, national and international sports associations, and media organizations) has been announced. The agreement has been extended to include a non-exclusive entitlement to supply data to non-betting media.
The arrangement also grants Sportradar access to some advanced tracking. With the use of this enhanced data, it will be able to provide its clients with cutting-edge technology solutions through the enhancement of its innovative artificial intelligence (AI) services and goods.
What Does New Arrangement Encompass in Terms of Coverage?
All UEFA club and national team events are covered by the agreement. These are UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, and UEFA Super Cup (clubs); UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, UEFA Nations League, the European Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the European Qualifiers to UEFA EURO 2028, UEFA European Under-21 Championships in 2025 and 2027, and UEFA international friendly matches (national teams) are among them.
Thanks to the new formats that UEFA club competitions will be introducing at the beginning of the 2024–25 season, Sportradar can now deliver over 900 high-profile matches per season, which is about 33% more than it could before.
Additionally, UEFA and Sportradar will continue their 15-year integrity collaboration. The partnership comprises comprehensive and systematic bet monitoring, education services to promote the prevention, detection, and investigation of match-fixing, and specialized intelligence and investigation capabilities to support UEFA’s Anti Match-Fixing Unit.
