The VALORANT Champions 2025 takes place from mid-September through early October—specifically across the second half of September and into the first days of October—in Paris, France. It’s the final culmination of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2025 season: the ultimate global championship event, concluding the full competitive circuit for the year. The VALORANT Champions, in general, is where the best teams from around the globe compete for the title of world champion, attracting massive viewership and featuring the highest level of competition in VALORANT eSports.

The VALORANT Champions 2025 is organized by Riot Games, the developer and overseer of the VALORANT eSports ecosystem.

Detailed lineups for EMEA, Pacific, and China haven’t yet been published, but the final field will follow the same 4-per-region structure.

Features of the VALORANT Champions 2025

The tournament consists of 2 main stages:

  • The Group Stage, held from September 12 to September 22, 2025, features 4 groups of 4 teams each, operating under a Double-Elimination (GSL) Format. All matches are Best-of-3.
  • Playoffs (bracket stage). It takes place from September 25 to October 5, 2025, as a Double-Elimination bracket. All playoff matches—except for the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final—are Best-of-3. The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are extended to Best-of-5.

Who’ll Win the VALORANT Champions 2025?

Given that only 2 teams secured their allotments at the VALORANT Champions 2025, it’s way too early to name tournament favorites. Though not a champion favorite list yet, their undefeated run at the recent Masters Toronto, with dominant play and synergy until the Semifinals, makes one of these 2 teams, Sentinels, a serious threat.

General eSports betting platforms such as Betway, Rivalry, and Pinnacle are commonly recommended for VCT bets: Betway for moneyline, Rivalry for props and totals, and Pinnacle for handicaps (spreads). These are consistently at the top of any esports betting list for online betting providers.

The VCT originally had 3 tiers—Challengers, Masters, and Champions—with open qualifiers. In 2022, Riot streamlined the system by reducing the number of tiers and simplifying pathways to the world stage. Champions 2023 became the most watched VALORANT event to date, with 1.8 million peak viewers and approximately 9.5 million unique viewers. Champions 2024 set new records for YouTube (497,200 peak) and TikTok (35,300 peak), falling only behind the Champions 2022 in overall viewership.

This is where you can watch the tournament:

  • Official streams: Matches are broadcast live via the official VALORANT Champions Tour channels on Twitch and YouTube.
  • VOD Access: Watch individual matches and highlights on the official VCT YouTube channel—though uploads may take a bit to appear.
  • Regional/caster channels: Local language coverage is often available, including via league partners like LVP and well-known streamers across Twitch and other platforms.
