Features of the Esports World Cup 2025 PUBG: Battlegrounds
The event features 2 main stages:
Group Stage (August 12–13, 2025)
- 24 teams are divided into 3 groups of 8 (A/B/C).
- Each group competes in round-robin intergroup play: A vs. B, B vs. C, and C vs. A. Each round has 6 matches, for a total of 12 matches per team over two days.
- The top 16 teams (by placement + kill points) advance to the Grand Finals, i.e., the Final Stage. The bottom 8 teams are eliminated.
Grand Finals (August 14–16, 2025)
- 16 teams play 18 matches total (6 per day across 3 days).
- The team with the highest total points (placement and kills) after all matches is crowned champion.
