The remaining eight participants will be determined through the Closed Qualifiers in seven regions: two from Western Europe and one each from Eastern Europe, China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North America, and South America.

The Dota 2: ESL One Raleigh 2025 is the penultimate event for teams to earn EPT Points to qualify for the Esports World Cup 2025.

Features of the Dota 2: ESL One Raleigh 2025

Group Stage (April 7–9), consisting of two single round-robin groups of six teams each, will kick off the tournament. All series consist of two games, after which the top two teams from each group advance to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs. The third- to fourth-place teams from each group advance to the Lower Bracket. The remaining teams are eliminated.

The matches in the double-elimination bracket of the Playoffs (April 10–13) will be played to Bo3, all except the Grand Final, which is Bo5.
