Since the first one, the ALGS: 2025 Open in New Orleans, is over, we know the identities of the top five teams from there that will compete in Riyadh: Team Falcons, Alliance, Al Qadsiah, 100 Thieves, and Shopify Rebellion. The remaining 35 will come from these regional tournaments: Pro League Americas (13 teams), Pro League EMEA (seven teams), Pro League APAC North (eight teams), and Pro League APAC South (seven teams). The Apex Legends Global Series: 2025 Midseason Playoffs, which are part of Apex Legends’ new 2025 eSports structure, will have three stages.

In the first stage, which is formally termed Pool Play, all 40 teams will be divided into two groups of 20.
