Suns vs. Nuggets Prediction on May 5, 2023
Match info
In their men’s basketball 2022-23 NBA playoff matchup with the Denver Nuggets, the Phoenix Suns are down by two games. Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals is set for Friday, May 5 (7 PM local time), at Footprint Center (Phoenix, Arizona).
Meeting statistics
Kevin Durant and the boys are under a lot of pressure as the series is moving to their homecourt in Arizona, but they also have high expectations because they don’t have much room for error. The Nuggets are proceeding as planned in the meanwhile, with Nikola Jokić leading the way and occasionally receiving assistance from other players. The current form of the Nuggets With 20+ points, 15+ rebounds, and 5+ assists in each of his final three postseason games, Jokić joined an exclusive player group. He’s primarily to “blame“ for Denver Nuggets’ strong drive at bookmakers with Android apps. With 39 points, 16 rebounds, and five assists in the second encounter, the two-time NBA MVP completely outplayed the Suns. Compared to the first game, Jamal Murray played horribly, scoring just 10 points and missing all nine of his 3-point attempts. Murray was fairly disappointing despite having eight assists, and he has to move past this performance as quickly as possible. The same was true for Michael Porter Jr., who contributed five points. Other than Murray’s erratic display, Denver is good. Porter Jr. had a challenging one-on-one opponent in Durant, so his subpar performance wasn’t all that awful. Denver just made 7 of its 27 attempts from beyond the arc, but their outstanding defense more than made up for it. We haven’t seen Mike Malone’s team play such a strong defense in a while, so props to them. The current form of the Suns The Phoenix Suns supporters are uneasy with the current circumstances reflected in the bookie odds. The fact that they never overcame a two-game deficit multiplies that. The Monty Williams team fell short in Game 1 of the series by almost 20 baskets, but they fought back in Game 2. They were unable to stop Jokić as he had another outstanding outing. Phoenix shot poorly from beyond the arc, making just six of its 31 attempts. With two threes in 12 attempts, Durant had the lowest performance. The Suns may have lost their composure at critical times because of Chris Paul’s groin problem. In the end, “CP3“ serves as the team’s captain and establishes the beat on the court. Not to diminish the status of Durant and Devin Booker, but Paul is the most significant player for the Suns. Williams has a headache but the veteran should be fit for Game 3 according to Suns club insiders who suggest that the medical team has adequate time to address Paul’s problem. Head-to-head encounters The Nuggets won Games 1 and 2 of the series, respectively, by scores of 125–107 and 97–87. In the regular season series, the two teams won twice each in H2Hs, both coming out victorious from their home games.

The prognosis for Paul’s injury is still uncertain. Over the past few seasons, he has suffered injuries in the postseason on a regular basis. He’ll be considered available because, according to sources from Phoenix, he has till Saturday to recover. The Suns should win Game 3 and boost the series up because they’re mighty in Arizona. Anything else for this squad would be disastrous. We laid out our match prediction but in case you’d rather go for a different betting line, pick player points and assists over 33.5 for Nikola Jokić at odds of 1.86 on BillionVegas.
