The current form of DRX

After an unimaginable triumph at the Worlds 2022, DRX’s fame quickly faded, which was evident already a year after the great triumph in San Francisco. After all, they failed to attend the Worlds 2023.

Last season wasn’t a revelation and didn’t change the paradigm of DRX performance—they very often finished big tournaments even outside of the top 8.

At the LCK Cup 2025, DRX failed to qualify for the Playoffs, finishing seventh, which, in their current position and form, can be called a good result.

The current form of DN Freecs

Their most successful year can be called 2018, when they were twice in the top 3 at the LCK (second place at the LCK Spring 2023 and third place at the LCK Summer 2018) and made it to the Worlds 2018.

During the off-season, the Freecs reconstructed the squad, but it didn’t affect the performance much. They started the season 2025 with participation in the LCK Cup 2025. They were ninth there, which, even with a strong desire, can’t be called a good result.

This will be the sixth match between the two teams since 2024. The score is 3-2 in favor of DRX.

We’ll witness a match of equal teams here. And, we’re afraid, it can’t be considered as a compliment for either of the two sides because DRX and the Freecs are both unhappy with their results in the LCK. We’re expecting a full-fledged Bo3.
