In 2024 alone, betting businesses gave Brasileirão Série A (the Brazilian men’s football championship) clubs R$550.7 million (more than US$90 million) in master sponsorships. This sum more than doubles the R$209 million (more than US$34 million) that was applied for in 2023 to have their logos printed on the players’ uniforms.
Accounting records and official statements issued by the teams during the closure of funding agreements provided the information before you.

With a contract worth R$105 million (US$17.2 million) with Pixbet, CR Flamengo have the largest deal. Soon after comes the SC Corinthians Paulista’s partnership with Esportes da Sorte to earn R$102 million, or US$16.7 million. Due to their popularity and impact on the Brazilian football scene, these two clubs are at the top of the betting sponsorship list, while their sponsors are top betting sites online.
With R$70 million (US$11.4 million) in sponsorship from Betfair, CR Vasco do Gama come in third. With contracts with Superbet totaling R$52 million (US$8.5 million) and R$42 million (US$6.9 million), respectively, São Paulo FC and Fluminense FC are in the top 5. Cruzeiro EC are paid R$40 million (US$6.5 million) to promote the Betfair brand.
Bookies are the primary sponsors of 15 Série A teams. For instance, SE Palmeiras and Sportingbet have an agreement of R$100 million (US$ 16.4), but this sum is spread across last year and 2025, demonstrating long-term financial prudence. This year, Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, the winners of the most recent Série A and Copa Libertadores (the South American equivalent of the UEFA Champions League), will be paid R$27.5 million (US$4.5 million) to have Parimatch printed on their players’ jerseys. The club’s recent success and capacity to draw in big investors are reflected in its sponsorship.
This rise in sponsorships shows how bookmakers are becoming more and more influential in Brazilian football. Clubs are able to spend great amounts of money on reinforcing their squads because of the substantial riches of these agreements. Additionally, they enhance infrastructure, which raises competitiveness both domestically and internationally. Lastly, the placement of betting brands on uniforms is a marketing tactic. It seeks to make these operators more well-known and visible in the Brazilian gambling market.
