Team Secret vs OG: prediction and bets on The International 10, October 12, 2021
On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Team Secret and OG will play the second match on the playoff (BO3) schedule of Dota 2 The International 10 at the Arena Naţională, in Bucharest, Romania. The encounter will begin at 12:30 p.m. local time & Moscow time.
The current form of Team Secret The world’s No.9 have had their ups and downs throughout the DPC Season of 2021. They crushed their way through 2020’s year of impromptu online events, and they appeared to be in excellent form to win at The International 10. The inclusion of Lasse ‘MATUMBAMAN’ Urpalainen to Team Secret’s lineup less than two years ago appeared to be a huge success.
Things were still looking well in January for the European side, as it cruised through the DreamLeague Season 14 EU DPC - Upper Division. However, it all took a turn for the worst for them after that. In light of their recent string of successes, their performance at the One Esports Singapore Major was disappointing compared to the winning spur they made before that. Team Secret finished fourth there. Throughout DreamLeague Season 15, four proved to be number definitely belonging to their property.
Team Secret, despite qualifying to the WePlay AniMajor, had an early setback. Finishing only two rungs from the bottom of the ladder, they bowed out in 16th position. But, based on the team’s overall performance in the Group Stage at TI10 and their second-place finish in Group B with a record of 4-2-2, it appears that the flame has been reignited under Clement ‘Puppey’ Ivanov. So, it would not surprise us if Team Secret finally take the Aegis of Champions in their hands this year.
The current form of OG The team ranked seventh in the world has demonstrated time and time again that it should not be underestimated in a TI (third in Group A with 3-4-1). However, the performance of Europeans in DreamLeague Seasons 14 and 15 was not only disappointing but it was also marred by roster changes.
Although, as a team, OG appear to be much more solid now that Sumail ‘SumaiL’ Hassan has successfully filled the position 1 void, it remains to be seen whether Johan ‘N0tail’ Sundstein and the new squad he captains over have the chemistry to win the Aegis for the third year in a row. We cannot speak for you but only for ourselves, however, we would not mind if they pulled it off.
Head-to-head encounters Out of the last 10 mutual encounters, Team Secret won as many as eight.
We have no doubts that OG will win and bookmakers with deposit bonuses, such as Thunderpick (offers first deposit bonus up to 500 EUR), seem to agree with us. There is an odd of 1.65 that is set on the outcome we predict.
